My name is Rasha Linehan, I am a learning support teacher at Our Lady’s Grove Primary School. With a background in Biochemistry, I have enjoyed bringing my love for science to the school since 2014 and I have seen the positive impact that hands-on science has on the children. Exposure to STEM subjects from a young age encourages critical thinking, problem[1]solving, persistence, and curiosity, to name a few. Therefore, I am delighted to offer the boys and girls in Goatstown Educate Together National School an opportunity to partake in a new Science Club, which I piloted in January of this year. All experiments are designed with children’s safety in mind. No hazardous material or chemicals will be used by the children. Topics to be explored include, lava lamps, lung and blood functions, magnetism and electricity, plant science, and microscopy and much more. Cost: €130 for a 10 week term. This includes all materials and resources.
Welcome to Goatstown Educate Together National School
We are a new primary school for the Goatstown/DunLaoghaire Rathdown area that opened for the first time in September 2019 taking in Junior Infants only. We will expand year on year up to 6th Class.
