I’m proud to be the founding principal of Goatstown ETNS, which began in August 2019 with just 8 Junior Infants pupils. Since then, our school has grown into a vibrant community.
With 15 years of experience in education, I started my career in Dublin’s North East Inner City. My passion is creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and can reach their full potential. We are committed to a values-based approach, teaching respect for ourselves and others.
I lead with empathy, kindness, and care, and I love that our school is so multicultural. The diversity within our community enriches us all, and I learn from our pupils every day.
In my free time, I enjoy music, the arts, hiking, and travelling.
I started my teaching career as a music teacher in 2004. I am so proud to teach in an Educate Together school and feel lucky to be part of a school in its early days. My two children also attend an Educate Together. I am particularly interested in activating pupil voice and global citizenship. I became Deputy Principal of our school this year. I am enjoying working closely with our Principal Diane as we work together to ensure our school vision is at the forefront of all our decisions.
